We have been writing a ton and are going into the studio to record some stuff. Look for something coming out this summer. We are super excited about these new songs.

New Cold War was conceived as a studio band to record a handful of songs written by Andy Harrison. The self-titled debut EP would eventually include performances by current and former members of Battle Born, Surrounded By Thieves, The People’s Whiskey, The Quitters, Guilty By Association and DC Fallout. Andy (formerly Surrounded By Thieves) and John Brown (Battle Born) tackle the guitar work, while Cody Leavitt and Luis Mendez (both from The People’s Whiskey) assume bass and drum duties, respectively. Brown, Harrison and Leavitt all have lead vocal roles. Mike Janoff (Guilty By Association) adds his unique style to the opening track, “Who We Are.”
The record was produced at Camel Hump Studios in Las Vegas, NV in the winter of ’13-’14. The experience and results were positive and the group started prepping to take the album live. In an effort to relax schedule demands on the already-busy lineup, percussionist Micah Malcolm (The Quitters) signed on and began contributing immediately. The band is currently active and performing in Nevada and Southern California.
