Happy Thanksgiving!

by John Brown on November 23, 2016

Howdy, all!  We are terrible at updating the website…  So if you’re trying to keep up with us, best follow on Facebook, Twitter, or IG.  We had a great time with SIC WAITING and Useless ID this past Monday, and we’re looking forward to Saturday’s Double Down anniversary show.  Everybody be safe, eat too much and love your family.

Mid-Summer-Ish Update

by John Brown on July 18, 2016

We’re not great at updating this site, but we’ve been busy!  Our holy homies Tartar Control were gracious enough to invite us out to gigs in Phoenix and Austin.  We’ve been grinding away on new material and made arrangements to have our next record produced by the famed Sonic Iguana Studios.  Some of our favorite records came out of this facility and we are super stoked to work with Mass Giorgini.

Music Review – PunkSexy – Las Vegas Punk Rock Tribute To Prince

by John Brown on January 13, 2016

“New Cold War doing I Would Die 4 U, is psychotic and so damn addictive at the same time. Talk about a song that is so far away from the original, where the Prince version came across as a love letter. This cover comes across as someone outside your window watching you. How brutally heavy and addictive this song is. By far, this song is something truly I was not expecting from this record. My god are these guys fucking amazing.”

Thank you James DePaolo!

Kickin’ It Old Skool

by John Brown on December 2, 2015

The Heiz CD release was probably the best time I’ve ever had at the Double Down.  Got to rock a packed house with both Micah and Luis, and a bunch of our favorite people from the Vegas (and Japanese!) scene.  Next gig is Friday the 11th @ Divebar with some true veterans of the Vegas punk scene.  Some of these fellas have been rocking the LV scene longer than Tommy AK has been alive.  Come check out the show!

These two songs, Never Coming Home and Burn are enough to make me want to go out and find a pit and sing along with sweaty strangers.”

Thank you Andrea Janov & CC2K!
